EQ Dance Space – Rehearsal Studio

At EQ Dance Space, accessibility is an ongoing practice. We are committed to cultivating a rehearsal space that supports physical, sensory, and financial access.

If you have specific access needs, we welcome conversations in advance.

Studio Access

• Two Step-free entrances at the front of building

• Vehicle access via warehouse shutter if required

• Bathrooms located on same floor

 

If you require assistance entering the building or navigating the space, please contact us before your first rehearsal.

Sensory Environment

Our rehearsal space is part of a creative neighbourhood of Clyde Mod Studios with different art forms may include:

​

• Music at varying volumes

• Overhead Florescent lighting (we are looking into low light & different lighting options as part of expanding our sensory access expansion)

Financial Accessibility

 

We are one of the Glasgow's low cost/affordable rehearsal spaces in the City, however we are always happy to negotiate cost if costs still become a barrier.

Getting to EQ Dance Space

​

EQ Dance Space is situated in Govan/ South Quay,, a 20-minute walk from Exhibition Centre Station  

The entrance is located on Govan Road just up from BBC Scotland, and Science Centre

​

By Tube

Nearest Tube Stations are Cessnock, and Ibrox

By Bus

Nearest Stop is Festival Park. The number 23,23A, 23P Switch, 26, and X19.

By Train

Exhibition Centre Station is a 20 minute walk from EQ Dance Space

By Bike

There are public bike stands outside the warehouse

By Car

Free parking is available on site. Busy periods are 9-5pm, Monday to Friday.
