TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.BOOKING
1.1 All bookings must be made through email via eqdancespace@gmail.com
1.2 All bookings are not confirmed without payment unless falling under invoicing (please see 1.4.2) in this case they are held provisionally.
1.3 One off bookings must be paid upfront unless it falls under invoicing (please see 1.4hrs)
1.4 Payment Methods:
1.4.1 Standing Order: With regular bookings or large booking (for us this is hire 8hrs+) we ask for the following:
>Weekly - we ask for payment a week before each session (you can also pay your weekly session monthly however if you wish see invoicing 1.4.2).
>Monthly - we ask for payment a month before each session
We can follow this up with invoicing also for paperwork/admin purposes if required.
1.4.2 Invoicing is welcomed to big bookings (8hrs+) . Regular bookings can use this options if you want to pay for a month's worth of hire at a time. All invoices must be paid by 25th each month or 72hrs before your hire if before 25th of each month. If payment is not made within those parameters your booking will be cancelled.
1.5 Classes & Workshops set up must be discussed with us. To do please again send us an email to initiate these talks to make sure all parties are supported appropriately. Parties defined as "You and/or your Team, Us and Participants."
2.CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
2.1 Standard booking

If a booking is cancelled more than two weeks in advance, you may request a 80% refund or credit transferred to a future booking. If you choose to transfer credit to a future booking, this must be booked at the time of cancellation.

If a booking is cancelled less than two weeks in advance, there are no refunds or amendments to your booking available.
2.2 Week long hire or recurring hires ( we define recurring as a regular hire that takes place over a long period of time/term e.g weekly classes or workshops)

If a booking is cancelled more than 4 weeks from the first date of the hire period, you may request a 80% refund

If a booking is cancelled between 4 – 2 weeks from the first date of the hire period, you may request a 50% refund

If a booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks from the first date of the hire period, there are no refunds or amendments to your booking available.
2.3 EQDC is not able to offer any refunds outside of these terms unless the building is forced to close. EQDC will endeavour not to cancel bookings once they are confirmed and paid for by the hirer. However, in the event the space hired becomes unusable as a result of any mechanical breakdown, fire, flooding, explosion, strike or act of god, EQDC retains the right to cancel confirmed bookings.
3. THE CREATIVE NEIGHBOURHOOD (created in tandem with Clyde Mod Noise Policy)
3.1 Be respectful to the neighbours, treat those as you would like to be treated
3.2 Being creative neighbourhood there may be some cross sound pollination. If it's too a high level please do reach out to us first by email or by phone, and we can reach out to the neighbours on your behalf. If you know you need quiet due to nature of the project/class your working on or leading please advise before hire so we can get the best time of days and advise our neighbours to keep sound down to a minimum. We cannot be held responsible if you do not inform us our your needs before hire in regards to sound levels.
3.3 This is most certainly a building where we are able to make noise - however if you think
that it may have a detrimental effect on someone else's working conditions, then please
exercise restraint on the volume.
3.4 It is encouraged to knock on a door and ask a neighbour if the volume is suitable for
them, instead of just assuming that it is.
3.5 During “Normal” working hours are 8am-5pm please try and keep some restraint on the
volume - however outside of these hours many people will also still be working.
3.6 As a general rule a suitable noise level to aim for it might be good to imagine that many
people use noise cancelling headphones inside their studios - so a level that’s relatively
in-audible once you are in the studio with noise cancelling headphones on outside.
3.7 If you're found still using the studio after your time/ don’t finish promptly impacting others' time in the studio and/or affecting our daily operations because of this, you will be charged for that additionally time that was used and given a warning. We operate on a "three strikes your out" rule which will led to a ban from hiring and interacting with our dance space on the third and final warning. Warnings will be sent in the form of email or in writing.
